One Stop is an informal meeting where county staff members are available to answer preliminary questions concerning any construction project (staff from private utilities and other governmental agencies can also be scheduled to attend upon request).  This meeting is completely optional and intended to help identify concerns or answer questions anyone may have before the permit or development review process begins.

This process is designed to allow the applicant, developer, builder, or property owner and the One Stop Shop staff the opportunity to discuss development concepts, identify process requirements and regulatory issues, explore solutions to potential problems, and to determine the most efficient and time sensitive manner to formally review plans for approval.

The following departments, divisions, and agencies are represented at One Stop Shop: Planning and Zoning; Building; Development Review; and Highway.

One Stop Shop meets on various Thursday afternoons at 2:00 p.m. at the County Administration Building at 201 North Second Street, Suite 431.  Appointments are not necessary, but they may prevent a wait.  If you would like to make an appointment, please contact the Community Development Department at 636‑949‑7335.
