On November 2, 1959 St. Charles County Court adopted the regulations known as Land Subdivision. Since that time St. Charles County has adopted various regulations dealing with zoning.
In 1999, St. Charles County adopted the Unified Development Ordinance (a/k/a UDO) for St. Charles County, Missouri, by ordinance number 99-99 enacted July 12, 1999, replacing Chapters 405 and 410 as then in place and effective August 23, 1999.
