CONSTRUCTION WITHOUT A PERMIT

County Ordinances require permits for new structures, plumbing, electrical, mechanical work, and alterations.

Below identifies: 

Section R105.1 Required: Any owner or authorized agent who intends to construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, demolish, or change the occupancy of a building or structure, or to erect, install, enlarge, alter, repair, remove, convert or replace any electrical, gas mechanical or plumbing system, the installation of which is regulated by this code, or to cause any such work to be done, shall first make application to the building official and obtain the required permit. (IRC 2003) Residential

Section 106.1 When required: An owner, authorized agent or contractor who desires to erect, install, enlarge, alter, repair, remove, convert or replace a mechanical system, the installation of which is regulated by this code, or to cause such work to be done, shall first make application to the code official and obtain the required permit for the work. . (IMC 2003) Mechanical
